Nico Reifer

Nico Reifer is a fluent, right-handed top-order batsman hailing from Surrey, England. A technically gifted player with a natural flair for run-scoring, Nico was recently released by County Champions Surrey at the conclusion of the 2024 season.

During his time with Surrey, he made his First-Class debut in a standout performance against a Sri Lanka Development XI, scoring a composed 68. In white-ball cricket, Nico featured in 18 List A matches, averaging in the mid-twenties and notching up two half-centuries. While consistent opportunities in the 1st XI proved limited due to Surrey’s remarkable squad depth, Nico remained a standout performer in the 2nd XI, frequently topping the run charts across all formats over multiple seasons.

At club level, he was instrumental in Sunbury Cricket Club’s triumphant 2023 Surrey Championship campaign. Balancing county and club duties, he compiled 479 runs in 16 matches, including a commanding top score of 124. In 2024, he continued his solid form, passing 500 runs at an average just under 30, with four half-centuries to his name. Then last summer, Nico also impressed for Great Witchingham in the East Anglia Premier League, amassing 701 runs at 30.48.

The batter has experience overseas playing in WACA Premier Cricket for Midland Guildford, Waratah Mayfield and Wodonga Raiders Cricket Club. He is now keen to explore options for the 2026/27 season, and is seeking a club with a good training structure.
