One of the highlights of his junior career was an impressive century against the Warwickshire Academy.
In addition to his batting ability, Oliver is also a capable reserve wicketkeeper and an outstanding catcher, well known for his safe hands in the field. Having played an important role in Audley CC’s Division One promotion-winning side, he has since established himself as a regular Premier League player in a strong league. His unbeaten 75 against eventual Premier League champions Stone SP CC during the 2025 season further demonstrated his ability to perform at premier league level.
Oliver is now looking to broaden his cricketing experience by playing in Australia, where he hopes to test himself in a competitive league environment and continue developing both on and off the field.
Away from cricket, Oliver is a fully qualified plumber and gas engineer. Since leaving school, he has completed a full apprenticeship and accumulated seven years of full-time experience in the trade, demonstrating his strong work ethic and professionalism alongside his sporting ambitions. A sociable guy and qualified ECB Level 2 coach, Oliver will no doubt be a popular choice for the coming season.
