Oluhle Siyo is a professional pace-bowling all-rounder playing at the highest tier of South African women's domestic cricket, currently contracted to Western Province Women. A natural leader and proven match-winner, she captained the South Africa Under-19 Women's team at the inaugural ICC Under-19 Women's T20 World Cup in 2023, leading the side on the global stage at just 19 years old.
Siyo's rise through the South African pathway began early: she was the highest run-scorer at the Under-13 Girls National Week in 2017, was selected for the SA Fillies squad at the Under-19 National Week in 2018, and was named Eastern Province's Under-19 Player of the Year in 2019. She made her senior provincial debut for Central Gauteng (DP World Lions) Women in 2021, the same year she was named in the SA Schools side at Under-19 Girls Week, before being selected for SA Under-19 tours of Zimbabwe and Namibia in 2022, finishing as the leading run-scorer of the Zimbabwe series. Across her List A career to date she has scored 456 runs at an average of 15.20 with a best of 65, and taken 19 wickets at 15.52 with best figures of 4 for 13; in Twenty20 cricket she has 209 runs at a strike rate of 74.11.
Since being awarded a full professional contract by Western Province Women in 2024 — having also spent the 2023/24 season with Boland Women — Siyo has been part of a period of sustained team success. Western Province won the Hollywoodbets Pro20 title in the 2024/25 season, with the side finishing runners-up in the Pro50 competition the same year. In 2025/26 the team went one better, completing the domestic double by winning both the Pro20 and Pro50 titles; Siyo played a direct hand in the Pro20 final, contributing 24 runs in the successful run-chase against the DP World Lions Women. Alongside her provincial commitments, she has been a regular fixture in Cricket South Africa's High Performance Academy intake in each of the last four years (2023–2026) and in the SA Emerging Women's squad over the same period, including tours to Namibia in 2025 and an inbound series against Bangladesh Emerging Women in 2026.
Oluhle is now seeking a UK club opportunity to test her game in English conditions, contribute with both bat and ball, and support the growth of the women's and girls' game at club level, with the long-term ambition of earning a senior Proteas cap and competing in global franchise leagues.
