Rahmanullah Zadran is an exciting top-order batter who currently turns out for Band-e-Amir Dragons in Afghanistan's domestic Twenty20 competition, alongside spells for Pamir Legends and Mis Ainak Region in the longer formats. A former Afghanistan Under-19 World Cup player at the 2020 tournament in South Africa, he was part of a squad that also featured Ibrahim Zadran, Fazalhaq Farooqi and Noor Ahmad — all of whom have since become full internationals.
Zadran made his first-class debut in the 2017/18 season, scoring 310 runs at 34.44 including a century. His breakthrough came in 2021/22, when he struck 349 runs at 43.62 in four matches for Mis Ainak Region. He backed that up with a standout 2023 season — 474 runs at 52.66, including a then-career-best 152* — and after a quieter 2024/25 campaign, bounced back in 2025 with 476 runs at 59.50 and a new highest score of 170*. He's continued that form into the current season too, following up with 84 and 45 in his latest outing. He now carries a first-class career average of 37.96 from 33 matches, with 2,202 runs, five centuries and 10 half-centuries.
His List A form has followed a similar upward curve. In the 2021/22 Ghazi Amanullah Khan Regional One Day Tournament — the same season as his first-class breakthrough — he made 239 runs at an outstanding average of 79.66, among the leading contributors for Mis Ainak Region.
