Ravindu Sembakutty

Ravindu Sembakutty is a talented all-rounder making his mark with Ragama Cricket Club in Sri Lanka’s Major League Tournament. A former Sri Lanka U19 standout, he has accumulated over 1,500 runs and taken more than 40 wickets across 60 domestic matches since debuting in the 2017/18 season. As a middle-order batter and off-spinner, Ravindu maintains solid first-class averages in the mid-20s, showcasing his value with both bat and ball.

After a two-year hiatus from domestic cricket, he made a strong return in 2024, joining Ragama for the Limited Overs campaign where he topped the team’s batting averages with an impressive 55.33. This form earned him a call-up to Jaffna for the National Super League Tournament, where despite featuring in just one match, he made an immediate impact with a quickfire 58 off 32 balls* and picked up a wicket in the second innings.

Building on this wave of confidence, Ravindu is now eager to return to England for another stint, having previously played for Redruth in Cornwall in 2021.
