Raymel Adams is a promising leg-spin bowling all-rounder currently living in Mansfield (Notts) and seeking a league club for the 2024 season.

Hailing from the Caribbean country of Anguilla, with whom he had represented in various Leeward Island competitions, Adams played his maiden UK season in 2023. He enjoyed a decent first outing taking 60 wickets at 18.30 alongside 797 runs at 29.52 for Mansfield in both Saturday (Bassetlaw and District Cricket League - Div 1) and Sunday (Mansfield and District Cricket League) fixtures. He returned to the club and enjoyed further success throughout their 2023 campaign.

Prior to relocating to the UK, he enjoyed a glittering junior career, which saw him represent his Country throughout the age groups. Adams broke into the Anguillian Senior team in September 2013 and became an integral member of the side's spin attack that included Leewards' left-arm spinner, Yannick Leonard.

Adams played for Anguilla alongside the likes of Windies batter, Jahmar Hamilton, and Leeward Island stars, Montcin Hodge, Deon Burton, and Kelbert Walters. Of note, he also plays alongside fellow CricX client, Jaidel Richardson, who excelled in the UK in 2019, helping St Helens Town to Liverpool League promotion courtesy of 54 wickets at 11.43 and 583 runs at 25.35 (by way of reference).

Courtesy of his exploits over the years, Adams has nudged the Leeward Islands' Senior squad but has yet to feature. He did, however, feature for the Leeward Under-19s back in 2012 following an outstanding Leeward Islands Tournament for Anguilla, taking two 5-wicket hauls and taking out his sides "man of the series".

A player that comes highly recommended by Jaidel, not to mention Windies quick Winston Benjamin and former Bucks/Hampshire legend, Cardigan Connor, Adams is seeking a new club for the UK 2024 season.
