A former Bangladesh Under-23 representative, Ahmed was a star performer in the Sylhet League, hitting 2 double centuries in 50-over matches. He was also part of Sylhet Division's victorious National League campaign in 2018/19.
A hard-working, and highly driven cricketer, during his first UK stint in 2021 he scored 582 runs at 25.30 for Glossop in the Greater Manchester Cricket League.
Last summer, he enjoyed a prolific stint hitting 947 runs at 45.10 including a double hundred (200*) for Ashton, again in the GMCL.
Ahmed is unavailable for a professional gig in 2023 due to a recent medical issue, so is looking to play in 2024.
