Rumesh Buddhika

Rumesh Buddhika is a seasoned Sri Lankan batting all-rounder with nearly two decades of dominance in domestic cricket. Since his List A debut in 2009, he has played over 250 matches across formats, representing top-tier clubs such as Burgher Recreation Club, Chilaw Marians, Tamil Union, Ragama, and currently, Panadura.

Renowned for his consistency and class, Buddhika has racked up close to 10,000 runs, including 19 centuries, with a stellar first-class average of 41.05. With the ball, his tidy off-spin has brought him over 50 wickets, underlining his value as a genuine all-rounder.

His talent was evident early — starring for Sri Lanka U19 on their 2009 tour of Australia (averaging 43.86), notching a century in the U19 Tri-Series in South Africa, and featuring in the 2010 ICC U19 World Cup.

Now well into a decorated senior career, Buddhika continues to deliver, both at home and abroad. He has enjoyed successful stints in England and Northern Ireland, proving a prolific force for clubs such as:
