Sachindu is an exciting 'mystery' wrist spinner making quite the name for himself in Sri Lanka, and more recently in the UK.

He burst on to the scene in top level cricket, originally as a white ball specialist, due to his consistency and wide range of variations causing problems for some high profile batters. Making his professional debut in 2019, in a T20 for powerhouses Nondescripts alongside Sri Lankan internationals such as Pathum Nissanka, Lahiru Udara, Mahele Udawatte and Chaturanga De Silva, he snared 3 wickets for 8 runs from just 2 overs, helping his team to a victory against Saracens Sports Club and in the process announcing his name as one that should be noted in years to come. Sachindu has since started to make a big impact in red ball cricket to prove he has the ability to be a match winner in all formats.

He has packed a heck of a lot in to his blossoming career so far, starring in the LPL, representing the Sri Lanka Cricket XI and U-23 team respectively. He comes highly recommended by trusted sources who confirm he has all the tools needed to bamboozle batters with his variations. Sachindu is also a highly competent batter, evidenced by his First Class best of 50* and List A best of 61*. He takes pride in his batting and used his debut stint in the UK to work on this aspect of his game.

Playing for Wellington CC in the West Of England Premier Cricket League (Prem 2), he performed brilliantly with 47 wickets at an average of 16.74 from 168.2 overs bowled and a best of 6/19. He also chipped in with 582 runs at an average of 24.25 and a high score of 96 to display his all round ability. Sachindu is now a qualified ECB 'Core Coach' and is very keen to help out with coaching throughout his next stint overseas.

A pleasant, down to earth guy with all the ability in the world, we highly recommend Sachindu for any club looking for that little bit of X-factor next summer.

Sachindu Colombage is, without doubt, one of the hottest spin bowling prospects in Sri Lanka. He currently plays for Nondescripts - one of Sri Lanka's strongest clubs that features the likes of Angelo Mathews, Mahela Udawatte, Upul Tharanga, and Lasith Malinga to name but a few.

The leg-spinner ripped up the recent SLC Invitation Limited Over Tournament (December 2019) taking 16 wickets at 17.63 to include notable performances against SL Army (3-54), Police SC (3-38), and match-winning figures against Colombo (5-46). His exploits culminated with Sri Lanka Emerging Players (U23's) inclusion.

Colombage cemented his spot in NCC's white-ball outfit, following his outstanding maiden season in 2018/19 where he took 13 wickets at 16.76 and 8 wickets at 13.62 in List A and T20 cricket respectively.

The gifted tweaker has starred at all levels to date. From schoolboy cricket playing for Maris Stella College (Negombo), through to age-group cricket (Leo's Cricket Club Under-23's) and is now dominating for NCC and the Sri Lankan Emerging Players.

Colombage headed to Bangladesh with the SL Emerging Players (U23's) in December 2019 and impressed, before he returned to dominate Sri Lanka's List A Tournament. He looks set to feature for NCC in their upcoming T20 and first-class campaigns and, therefore, is eager to play UK league cricket in 2020.

The talented spinner, who is also a handy batter in the lower-order, as he proved at schoolboy level, comes recommended as a future Sri Lankan international. He is looking to impress in UK league cricket for the 2020 season.
