Sadique Henry

Sadique Henry is a stylish top-order batter currently representing the Combined Campuses and Colleges (CCAC) in West Indian domestic cricket. A composed presence at the crease with the ability to build an innings or shift gears when needed, Henry is a player on the rise in Caribbean cricket.

He first broke into the domestic scene in the 2019/20 Regional Super50 tournament, making his List A debut and scoring 153 runs across seven matches, including a best of 54. After a brief absence, Henry returned to the professional fold during the 2023/24 season and has since re-established himself as a key figure in the CCAC setup.

February 2024 marked a major milestone as Henry made his first-class debut in the CWI 4-Day Championship against the Windward Islands. He quickly underlined his credentials with back-to-back half-centuries—73 against the Leeward Islands followed by 63 against the West Indies Academy—cementing his role in the CCAC top order.

Now a regular feature in the CCAC side, Henry is focused on making a big impact during the 2024/25 domestic season. Looking beyond the Caribbean summer, he’s also targeting a return to the UK in 2026, eager to build on his experience from his maiden stint in 2023. That season, he played in the Surrey Championship for Beddington but, by his own admission, didn’t reach his potential—scoring 426 runs at 22.42. With lessons learned and form building back home, Henry is determined to return to the UK stronger and more focused, ready to deliver the kind of performances that reflect his true talent.

With domestic form trending upward and international aspirations on the horizon, Sadique Henry is a batter to watch and an excellent prospect for any club seeking a technically sound and motivated overseas professional.
