Having grown up in Townsville, Melbourne, and now Canberra, Sam has been immersed in elite cricket pathways from a young age and has been part of the Cricket ACT representative pathway since the age of 14.
Now having completed Year 12, Sam is keen to continue developing his cricket career, build higher-level skill sets, and gain valuable experience and exposure through international competitions during the Australian off-season.
Sam has played over 136 matches across junior and senior cricket in various competitions, most recently in Men’s 1st and 2nd Grade for WDCC. A passionate, focused, and athletic player, Sam’s fitness and pace make him a powerful fast bowler and a strong fielder.
His performances at both junior and senior levels have seen him selected in:
ACT Under 17s – 2024/25 season
ACT Under 19s – 2025/26 season, competing at the Australian National Championships
Notable performances include:
6/35 – ACT U19s State Trial Matches
4/73 (16 overs) – Canberra Men’s 1st Grade
4/49 – Canberra Men’s 1st Grade
Although primarily a lower-order batter, Sam has also contributed with the bat, including:

At the conclusion of the Australian summer, Sam will focus on securing selection in a Northern Hemisphere competition and is currently available to EU clubs.
