Shubham Agarwal is a high class spin bowling all rounder currently representing Chattisgarh in the top level of professional cricket in India.
A leg spinner who has all the tricks in the book and a middle order batter, Shubham has all the tools to be a match winner with bat or ball. He has an accurate leg spinner as his stock ball, along with a flipper and a googly which has done for some of world crickets best batters. Due to his skillset, Shubham has largely been pigeon holed as a white ball player (although he has a first class best of 5/62 with the red ball) and his performances at domestic level earned IPL selection in 2017, when he was picked in the Gujarat Lions squad. He only played one game (taking the wicket of Hasim Amla) but rubbed shoulders with some of the best players in the world in a star studded line up featuring the likes of Brendon Mccullum, Aaron Finch, Ravindra Jadeja and Suresh Raina to name but a few.
Since then he has continued to toil away for Chattisgarh, putting in some match winning performances along the way. He not only bowls well but is also a strong middle order batter who we envisage will be able to really be destructive in league cricket. Shubham is also a good guy who is looking to integrate in to his new club this coming summer.
