Sid Thomson (18) is a hugely impressive top order batsman from London, England.
Thomson is an aggressive top order batsman who likes to take on the bowling. The youngster plays his club cricket in the Kent Premier League for the famous Sandwich Town Cricket Club, and also is a resident of the Isle of Wight, were he represents them on a regular basis.
Thomson attends the famous Millfield School, and is in his last year. The batter captained the 1st XI side and last year averaged over 40 with the bat for them with a high score of 121 against a strong Hampshire County Cricket Club Academy side. He is no stranger to higher honours either, having represented Somerset County Cricket Club throughout their age group system.
Moving forward the Englishman has aspirations to play the game professionally, and has signed up for the International Cricket Programme in Melbourne for the winter. So is now seeking a club in the Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne. No doubt an impressive young cricketer and one we see excelling overseas.
