Teagan Broughton is an exciting young seam bowler playing for Scotland U19’s girls and Leicestershire CCC U18’s girls.
She made her debut for Scotland Under 19’s in May of 2023 and her international under 19 debut against Netherlands in August of the same season. During her career for this team she has lead her team during 2024 preseason and has taken 3-12 against the MCC.
Teagan has played for Leicestershire CCC since 2018 (part of the 2017 training squad). She has played all the way through from under 11’s to making her senior women’s debut in 2022 taking 2 wickets for 0 runs against Lincolnshire Women’s.
At her club she has set and broken many records including becoming the first female player to take 100 club wickets for Sileby Town CC. She has excelled in both women’s and men’s cricket at the club which has included leading the bowling attack for the women’s team in previous seasons to becoming a senior bowler in the men’s team.
2024/25 season, saw Broughton head down under to represent Wyclif Cricket Club in the Eastern Cricket Association where she excelled with the ball in hand, picking up 38 wickets at an average of 18.16, boasting best figures of 5/4. Teagan also ammased over 300 runs at an average just shy of 20, showcasing he ability to score crucial runs with the bat.
The talented Broughton is now seeking a return to the Southern Hemisphere next winter and will be wanting to immerse herself to a clubs coaching structure.
