Harper is the frontline spinner for Suffolk County Cricket Club in the NCCA, where he has established himself as one of the competition’s standout performers across all three formats. He finished both the 2024 and 2025 seasons as Suffolk’s leading wicket-taker in the NCCA Championship (3-Day) and NCCA Trophy (One-Day), underlining his consistency and impact at county level. His standout performance includes exceptional best figures of 7/55 against Bedfordshire CCC.
At club level, the off-spinner plies his trade for Copdock & Old Ipswichian Cricket Club in the East Anglian Premier Cricket League. A key figure in the side, Harper has now surpassed 100 First XI wickets at club level, averaging 28.15, and continues to lead the attack as the team’s main spinner.
With the bat, Harper adds real value in the middle and lower order. During the 2024 season, he amassed just under 500 runs across all formats at an average of 27, including two half-centuries. He followed this with another productive 2025 campaign, contributing over 400 runs and regularly providing crucial late-order runs.
Widely regarded as one of the best fielders on the circuit, Harper prides himself on being a complete cricketer and consistently influencing games across all three disciplines.
Currently studying at Loughborough University, Harper is part of the UCCE programme and recently toured Sri Lanka with the university side. He is also in line to feature in fixtures against First-Class counties as part of their pre-season preparations.
With his studies nearing completion, Harper is now eager to gain overseas experience in Australia, continuing his development with ambitions firmly set on pushing toward the professional game.
A high-quality signing for any club seeking a proven spin-bowling all-rounder with strong county, university, and premier league pedigree.
