Thomas Smith (19) is a spin bowling allrounder (off-spin) from Perth, Australia.
Smith is a right handed middle order batsman who likes to be positive and put pressure on the opposition, and also a front line right arm off spinner who bowls with good control. The talented youngster has the added benefit of holding a British Passport due to his English mother, which negates any potential visa issues.
At club level the all-rounder has recently joined Perth District Cricket Club in WACA Premier Cricket to play alongside his brother Dylan. The youngster will start in the lower grades but is keen to keep work hard and push up through the grades at the earliest opportunity. Smith has previously played in South Australia and in the WASTCA in Perth, and now wants to test himself in the UK after a season of Premier Cricket behind him in Perth.
The British Passport holder is keen to play alongside his brother if leagues rules allow, but would also be happy to play in the 2nd team. No doubt a good club man and more than handy addition to any club seeking a young all-rounder for next year.
