Thulani Tembela is an exceptional top-order batsman from Gauteng, South Africa.
An organised right-hander who bats at a fluent tempo, the 24-year-old professional is a classy stroke maker who has made both First-Class & List A appearances for Eastern Province in recent years.
A genuine athlete, Thulani is a three dimensional cricketer able to influence the game at any stage. Making his First-Class debut at the age of 18, the Saffa has gone on to play 8 professional matches for his Province.
Although he is in the early stages of his career, Tembela has already fought his way back onto the scene, and in recent months has capitalised on his minimal opportunities.
Often batting at the top of the order, the Gauteng resident has been in fine form in recent months. Notching up a recent hundred (104 off 106 balls) for his club side Tembisa, Tembela has continued to dominate in local Premier League Cricket. Also capable of bowling right-arm medium pace, Thulani is able to adapt his game to suit all formats, which is a talent in itself.
