Tiam Afshar is a talented young wicket keepr/batter who is currently playing his club cricket for East Molesey Cricket Club in Surrey.
During his time with the powerhouse club, he has amassed 27 half centuries across all competitions at an average of 23.97 and is currently playing a mixture of 1st XI and 2nd XI cricket and training in a highly competitive environment which is really helping to develop his game. He is best characterised as an organised batter who is very busy at the crease and loves to be in the contest. His wicket keeping is also a strong part of his game and something he prides himself on immensely. Across his career to date he has 130 catches and 45 stumpings to his name. He is a respected figure within his club.
For his education, Tiam made the move up north to Leeds Beckett University and continued to progress his cricket, he features in the 1st XI and continues to train hard in his spare time around his studies. He is a determined character who is very keen yo use his off season to continue to develop his cricket down under this coming season. He would be a pleasure to host and is keen to add as much value to his club both on and off the pitch as possible. He is also a keen and accredited ECB Level 2 coach.
