Toby Porter is an outstanding quick bowler from Surrey, England.
Porter has grown up playing cricket at his local cricket club East Molesey Cricket Club in the Surrey Championship, and has been a leading factor in the sides recent success. Toby is a right arm seamer that has worked his way through out the age groups and teams, all the way from under 5s to being a part of the 1st XI that have won 3 Surrey Premier Leagues in the 5 years alongside 2 Conference Cups.
Toby had his best season to date last year being a major reason for his club's league and cup success. With his 44 league wickets @ an average of 13.4 making him the the leading wicket taker in the Premier League which is an outstanding achievement in one over the strongest Premier Leagues in the country. The seamers success also earnt him a call up to represent Surrey CCC 2nd XI last summer where he played against Hampshire picking up 1 for 14. Since breaking into the East Molesley 1st XI the quick has taken 138 wickets at 18, with best figures of 7 for 24.
Toby also took his cricket up north throughout his 3 years at Leeds Beckett University, which saw him be a main stay opening the bowling in the 1st XI. Including their National BUCS winning side in his first year. In his last year he was involved in the Leeds Bradford UCCE squad for the 2024 season, playing against First Class counties.
Porter is also a keen and qualified coach, so happy to be part of a clubs senior/junior coaching set up for the coming winter.
