Vimbai Mary Mutungwindu is a wicketkeeper-batter representing the Mashonaland Eagles Women who has now broken into the senior Zimbabwe Women setup. Having been part of the Zimbabwe Women travelling squad, including a tour of Ireland, she went on to make her full international debut against Pakistan Women in Karachi in May 2026, earning both her ODI and T20I caps within the same series.
Since making her List A debut in February 2022, Vimbai has featured in over 50 matches across List A and T20 cricket for the Eagles, gaining valuable domestic experience. She has also represented Zimbabwe on the global stage at age-group and senior level, competing at the ICC Under-19 Women's World Cup in South Africa in 2023, and more recently featuring for a Zimbabwe High Performance squad on tour in Rwanda in June 2026.
Known for her sharp wicketkeeping skills and growing confidence as a batter, Vimbai has contributed consistently behind the stumps, recording multiple catches and stumpings across formats.
