William Stevenson is a talented opening batsman from Wellington, New Zealand.
An organised right-hander, Stevenson is a product of the Wellington age-group programmes, and was involved in the set up until 2022. Building his game around a solid defensive technique, the 21-year-old opened the batting for Wellington U19's across two seasons.
With a high score of 115 not out, and recording a highest opening stand of 198 for Wellington U19's, the Kiwi youngster also dominated throughout his school career. After graduating into senior cricket, Stevenson now represents Hutts District Cricket Club in the Wellington Premier Competition.
Will has recently signed with Groen & Wit Cricket Club for their upcoming Hoofdklasse campaign. The young New Zealander is certainly one to keep an eye out for during the 2024 summer, and we look forward to seeing him go big from April onwards.
