Yash Kothari is an incredibly talented batting all-rounder who has cemented his spot in the star-studded Rajasthan side post-COVID.
Playing alongside the likes of Indian stars Rahul Chahar, and Ravi Bishnoi, Kothari has impressed since the resumption of cricket, particularly in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy (T20), and Vijay Hazare Trophy (List A) competitions.
In recent times (Oct 2022), Kothari has notched up notable T20 scores of 36 (37 balls) v Madhya Pradesh, and 53* (42) balls against Vidarbha from the top of the order.
Roll on the Vijay Hazare Trophy (Nov 2022) and he would strike back to back centuries against Jharkhand (139 from 144 balls), and the star-studded Vidarbha side (109* from 118 balls)
Kothari has also previously enjoyed success in Ranji Trophy, and also during a 2-match stint for Chilaw Marians in Sri Lankan first-class cricket (Feb/Mar 2020).
Whilst known for his explosive batting, Kothari is an economical left-arm spinner who has excelled in both age group and senior men’s cricket. He is also a leader of men, having skippered sides throughout his career.
Now a permanent fixture in the strong Rajasthan side, Kothari is eager to spend a season abroad in 2023. He is eager to impress and is someone that we feel has all the tools to be a fantastic pro next summer.
