Zen Malik is a stylish top order batting all-rounder (leg spin) who has recently been representing Leicestershire & Northants at 2nd Team level. Malik is a former England Under 19 International and was previously contracted to Worcestershire County Cricket Club.
In 2022 he scored over 400 runs at an average of 50 in 2nd XI cricket, scoring 3 hundreds and 3 fifties. Whilst taking best figures of 4-22 with his leg spin. Zen also represents Staffordshire CCC at Minor County level, and has been in formidable form over the past 3 seasons, scoring almost 900 runs at an average of 58 in just 15 innings.
In 2023 the all-rounder again excelled in UK club cricket for Leek Cricket Club with nearly 700 runs & 45 wickets at 14. Malik also notched up a ton for Northants 2nd XI towards the back end of the season. As well as his batting and bowling, Zen is exceptional in the field and prides himself being the best he can be. The Englishman is widely regarded as one of the best players in the UK not to have a county contract.
The all-rounder is now keen to head Melbourne for the 2024/25 season! A serious player and one that will be in huge demand for the coming season! The Englishman is also travelling with partner so will need suitable accommodation.
