A top-order batter and useful medium pacer, Reshi played for Jammu and Kashmir for six seasons (2011/12-16/17) where he enjoyed tremendous success. In 32 Ranji Trophy matches, Reshi scored 1,627 runs at 27.57, with a highest score of 160*.

Following a couple of lean domestic campaigns for J&K (2015/16-16/17), Reshi was overlooked, but he returned to professional cricket post COVID (2023), this time in Sri Lanka for Badureliya Sports Club.

Having played 6 first-class matches in recent times, Reshi is now eager to play down under for the 2024/25 season.
