Mohammad Saleem is a hugely exciting prospect who has made a huge impression in Pakistan domestic cricket last summer.
Earlier in the 2023/24 year, he was a stand-out for Faisalabad Region, racking up 290 runs at 48.33 to earn his place in Pakistan Cup's Team of the Year. Roll on the New Year and Saleem would strike his maiden first-class century for WAPDA, hitting 117 against Khan RL in the QeA Trophy.
Saleem, who also bowls handy leg-spin, has been touted as a future star for many years. He was a star performer for Faisalabad through the age-groups, and made his FC debut for WAPDA in his late teens. However, last summer (2023/24) he started to justify his talent on the senior stage and now looks set for a bright future.
The in-form batter is now looking to play cricket abroad in 2025 and is a player we strongly recommend.
