Rohan Vallabhaneni is an immensely talented batter who is at the start of what promises to be an exciting career in the game.

A rare talent, Rohan has exceeded at every level of cricket he has played at and has ambitions to play the game professionally. He has already made his senior National Counties debut for his home county Staffordshire after impressing in the Development XI, where he racked up the runs consistently. He has always been pushed to play a level above his age group and made his Staffordshire Under 18 debut aged just 15, he is held in high regard within the county due to his talent and his ability to convert starts in to hundreds, which for any young player is a sign of real potential. At just 16, he was Staffordshire Under 18s leading run scorer, averaging 40+ for his 650 runs.

At club level he has also made a real impact, playing his cricket for Newcastle & Hartshill CC in the strong North Staffs South Cheshire League. In 2024 he was outstanding, opening the batting in a mixture of red and pink ball cricket, he excelled, making his debut first XI century and helping the team not only win the league but go unbeaten all season and earn promotion to the Premier League. In 2024 alone, he made 2,077 runs across all cricket and contributed 546 runs to the First XI, pretty impressive stuff from such a young man. He is also currently training with Derbyshire CCC over the winter and hopes to feature for their Under 18 side and gain some Second XI experience along the way.

Rohan is an extremely well rounded individual, currently educated at the prestigious Denstone College, where he is captain of the First XI. Last season he led his team to to the quarter finals of the national cup, scoring 334 runs at an incredible average of 111 along the way.

Rohan is quit clearly a player of immense talent, he has a high ceiling as a player and would represent a top option for any club seeking an exciting young cricketer who has a burning desire to play the game professionally.
